{Day 21} Moses’ Confidence / Photo of the Week Forty

Looking Glass Rock from the Blue Ridge Parkway

“Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”

Prayer of Moses | Psalm 90:1-2 (ESV)

“Remember this and stand firm, recall it to mind, you transgressors,

remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me,

declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’

calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.”

Isaiah 46:8-11 (ESV)

After spending most of the day at a women’s retreat at the church I grew up in {we heard and talked about coming to Jesus for rest as He calls/instructs in Matthew 11:28-30 and it was SO good, y’all!}, my roommate and I headed to the park to take full advantage of the beautiful weather. Seriously, it was gorgeous!

I took way too many photos of the geese while we were there, but I happen to really love this shot. After the park, we headed out to dinner with our parents and now we’re watching the new Footloose movie. An all around good day!
